A porker at the pig roast

Here's Ben, sitting on his Great Grandmother's lap, at Saturday's pig roast. There were many of Ben's distant cousins, on Nick's maternal grandmother's side, who had no idea that Ben ever weighed less than a bag of flour. With those cheeks, it's hard to believe it ourselves.

The beautiful little guy next to Ben is cousin Will. Will was born the first week of June and was 9 pounds 8 1/2 ounces at birth. He and Ben are both now 14+ pounds. As you can see, Will's got quite the head of hair and beautiful blue eyes.

A True Jersey Boy

Only a true Jersey Boy would appreciate a four pack of White Castle "Slyders". Monday was Ben's (and his Mom's) first time experiencing the culinary delights that can only be procured at White Castle. For Poppa P the trip through the drive-thru was a trip down memory lane.

After the feast Ben, and the rest of the Pollaras, were definitely in a food coma.

Arizona Aunties Rock!!

Dear Arizona Aunties,

Thank you so much for the hilarious onesies you sent me. I appreciate that you understand my slightly cynical fashion sense. Now that I'm almost five months old, it's definitely time for these very cool clothes.

Ben's not the only thing growing at our house

Not only is our baby growing like a weed, but so are the black eyed susan's that Nick planted when Ben came home from the hospital. There must be something in our water.

Ben loves the ladies and the ladies love Ben!!

On Monday, Ben got together with the "Yoga Babies" Eliza and Ainara. The babies were all born within 2 weeks of each other and their mommas became friends during prenatal yoga class.

The girls are BEAUTIFUL!!! It was a great day.

Ben's cool new chair

Ben loves his new chair. It gives him a new perspective on the world. He's not quite big enough to stay in it for a long time, but he's getting there.
